The CBSE curriculum is based on the National Curriculum Framework 2005 and it provides opportunities for students to achieve excellence in learning. The CBSE curriculum is learner-centred and helps the students to acquire various skills; being innovative, leadership skills, sportsmanship etc… and also moulds the cognitive development of the child. To foster and help the children to groom and gain mastery in the academics, we have identified major learning areas, namely, Scholastic and co- scholastic.
Kindergarten
“Happy Schooling” is what we believe in. A happy kid is always a performing kid, hence our facilitators strive towards nurturing a joyful learning process.. Kindergarten is a delightful period for a child to explore, communicate, look, listen and have fun, while at the same time gain confidence, grow independent, develop cognitive and motor capabilities . Our well designed integrated curriculum provides holistic approach that reflects the real world and prepares children for life long learning
Primary & Middle school
Along with the Curriculum which we follow, we have also formulated special programs to kindle the learning interest within the kid. Teaching Methodologies
Education through Art
We offer programs based on educating students through arts. Such programs are based on a strictly constructed curriculum that emphasizes on the development of the students’ artistic abilities. Subjects like history which are thought to be boring by the students are made more interesting by role playing activities, whereas visual arts are used in teaching mathematics and it connects with Architecture, Sculpture and Textiles. According to Read, “Art should be the basis of education. The aim of education is to create artists- people efficient in various modes of expressions”.
Understanding Science in Action
- I hear and I forget
- I see and I remember
- I do and I understand
This program makes the learning of science an enjoyable and rewarding experience for the child. This inevitably helps erect a barrier between the child and science. Experimenting is an excellent chance to stimulate thinking. For instance, “Concept of pressure” is been taught, it will be connected with real life experiences, like Drinking Straw, Syringe, Soles of food balcing, Flying air craft, etc. and experimentation also will be done. In the next class, the students will be coming up with their new ideas and application like vacuum cleaner, hydraulic pump, etc. on the concept what they have learnt. The children should get involved with science and discover its principles for themselves. Children should work like little scientists busy exploring the rich world around them.
